You Never Know
June 2009

Have you ever wondered how much time you had left? Last week and this
weekend, with Michael Jackson, Farrah Faucet, and others dying, it's
caused me to think, how precious life is and how much shorter it can be
if just a few circumstances were to change in a person's life.
Isn't it amazing how sudden Michael Jackson died? Isn't it
interesting how quickly it all took place. I was watching a program on
TV where he was scheduled to go on tour with each performance paying
him in excess of $10 Million each appearance. That is an enormous
amount of money. And he needed it. The pressure was on. He was in
bankruptcy proceedings with the Netherland Ranch. He had approximately
$500 Million in debt, of which was in default. The pressure was huge.
While Michael Jackson was feeling the tension based on his life's
many pressures, his drug addictions, his financial pressures, his
children issues, etc., he was under so much pressure, the stress on his
body was more than it could take. But he's not alone.
With so many people in financial stress due to the economy, the
pressure is on. People are hurting. And it's not just in your own back
yard. Scott Cook wrote, "A
whole generation of Americans will retire in poverty instead of
prosperity, because they simply are not preparing for retirement." And the sad thing is........Scott Cook is right.
I saw a study recently that said that 98.5% of citizens of the United
States (the wealthiest country in the world), will retire with less
than $10 Thousand in the bank. 1 out of every 53 homes in the U.S. is
in danger of foreclosure. What is the answer to this crisis?
For years, people who are talented, professional, and have taken a
hit in the business world or the stock market, have turned to network
marketing in a quest for financial freedom and independence.
Just like Michael Jackson, we don't know when our number will be
called. What about the lady who recently missed her flight and luckily
was not on that flight due to it crashing and killing all the
passengers on board? However this was short lived as she was killed in
a car wreck only one week later. What did she think about that week?
Did she hug a few extra people and tell them how much she loved them?
Did she value life more knowing she was spared by the simple act of
missing her flight? How much more important was her life to her for a
short week on the earth?
What would you do if you knew your had a limited amount of time on
the earth? Would you visit someone you haven't seen in years? Would you
elect to go on a trip to a place in the world you've promised yourself
you would go before you die?
What is your plans? Do you have any? Hopefully you have a dream or
many dreams that you've been wanting to see come true. Network
Marketing has been the catalyst for tens of thousands of people
worldwide to achieve their dreams. It is a business that is for the
most part recession proof and a great option for many people to fulfill
their dreams so they can live life without the pressures and stress
left by most employment situations.
